Alternative construction
This proposal shows how you can simply use a tow rope as a rope for lifting the drawbridge. Satellite pole was used here as a barrier. This is not typical police structure, despite the presence of police vehicles. It is the ordinary drawbridge with the ship and booth for the operator of the bridge.
