Alternative construction
One of the proposals to construct workshop with a car wash and a two-storey building.
The mechanic has large open garage to his disposal with tools in the form of a hammer, wrench and a car jack. The position is marked accordingly by two icons on the roof. Three cars were designed here, which are quite different than those available in the original version. The largest is the black car, which has a roof.
Inside the building is a station for tire balancing at ground floor and upstairs is a room with a desk. An interesting concept have been used here to build windows. High grey windows could be used, because they are available in this set. However, the designers used the two hinged roofs from the cars with one big black plate forming the roof of the building.
The windows are unusually low and in the end, as you can see, it looks quite interesting.

Moreover, a small fuel tank and tire cart is available at the workshop's area.In summary, this is one of those unique alternative designs, as a stand-alone workshop on the 32x32 plate was not created in Town theme. Of course, small workshops were released such as 6363-1: Auto-Repair-Shop or Lego-6369-1. However, repair positions on 32x32 plate where released as addition to Shell petrol station, for example LEGO-6371-1 or Lego-6378-1.

I think that you should add the LEGO-1966-1 set, it's a 32x32 workshop. It was a promotional set.
I'm building one since 2014 (I'm very patient), but missing some pieces... It was intentended to transport kartings, but i've not built them and made a longer trailer. |
