Introduction
This coach was made from some French coaches of 70's and 80's. It's my longest bus: 26 studs long. I've tried to reduce the lenght but it looked odd, so I've kept it. There is place for 8 luggages and ten passengers. Althought, passengers can't be placed inside in their usual state... I mean that I have to use 1975 minifigure torso (wiithout arms) to make them fit. In order to imitate usual figures, I will print 80's bodies stickers to apply them on 1975 torsos. This coach is a rear engine one.
The color scheme is inspired by 80's french coaches, but modified to stick with 80's colors. I've also decided to place 1x4 bricks with Legoland print to have a bit of writing on. As you can see, I'm missing a right 1x2x2 door in white that I have but is yellowed. I wanted to innovate in the windscreen shape by trying to put a 2x4 slope in Tr.Clear.
This coach can be used in varuious conditions, including school transport, travels and long-distance rural traffic.
This creation could have been released in 1985 regarding the parts it contains.

This creation contains four minifigures, the coach driver, a teacher and two children, three luggages and a coach with a luggage hold.
Scenery
The scenery shows a French 30's school with French flag and an enclosed playground. There is also a small factory next to it with my British Petroleum truck refuelling a tank.

Sorry, I did not see your comment when I posted this MOC.
You should try building a new version of your bus, I like yours, the only thing that annoys me is the abscence of windows. In fact, it wouldn't be as nice as the actual one to make minifigs sit in the bus. I would need to deeply change the model., the roof of the vehicle should be higher, so windows could not be directly after the roof. A part that would be extremely useful would be this one. It would be used with 1x2x1 panels and would allow us to place a minifigure, sit in a bus. It would be a good opening way too. The only problem is that it have never been released in Tr.Clear or in Tr.Lt.Blue... |
