Very good work! You found a clever solution to make the upper deck going down. It's full of interesting solutions. I like the tractor, it looks very powerfull, and adapted to transport cars. You also captured well the 90's style.
Of course, the trailer is the main attract and a big piece of work. You placed a lot of mechanisms and kept a reasonable width. And it looks very sturdy and playable. I made such a truck some years ago, bit it was rather fragile. But I made it in a mid-80's style, and I did not wanted to use the Technic parts you used as it made my trailer 6 studs wide. There is something that makes me smile, as yesterday, I made a scenery with something to complete this truck, a mid 80's styled car dealer... I will try rebuilding my truck and put it in a scenery when I will have some time. | |

Thanks Evans :)
I wanted the deck to be 4-studs in width, but it would be difficult as you say to build stable 4-stud trailer with upper deck. You need some support and a space for car to fit in. I have thought about this for some time and rebuild the trailer numerous times to make it functional and stable. You can actually grab it by the upper deck and pull up :) The locks keep it in one piece all the time. I am pretty proud from this construction. This is one of MOCs which I want to keep and it will appear in random sceneries from time to time. I have prepared instructions for all MOCs I want to keep, this is the sixth so far. I am looking forward to see your version of truck :) |
