BP Tank Truck

Introduction
I thought about this truck in end 2015, and searched about right stuckers to put on it. I only found a not so bad solution last days. So I took pictures. At the beginning, this truck was intended to deliver only domestic oil, but in fact, il's a petrol truck. I took 80's BP color scheme to build it. Maybe later, I'll build a bigger petrol truck or even a service station to come along. I used the same tank design of others tank trucks of the era like 6695 from 1984. In a long-term project, I would like to build others companies tank trucks, like Total, Esso, Azur, Elf, Antar among others.
Construction contains
There is a truck, a hose to deliver petrol and a delivery man.
Scenery
In the scenery is the (US sold only) Big Rig Truck Stop wih some others sets of the late 80's era.

I remember this one, you've posted it on the forum some time ago :)
It is better this way, with logo only on the tank and doors. No need for this long text as it was in the original version. It is small and nice tanker, more compact than 6695 :) I see you've though about everything, it has controls, lever and valve to connect the hose. If you'll build a BP station, don't forget to post it! |
